About Me

Living my life every second, every minute, every hour, every day!

Who I Am and What Drives Me

Through working with healthcare professionals and individuals, I have seen many things in healthcare. One issue I could not ignore was nutrition. I saw several cases where individuals in a hospital struggled to eat after having surgery, from a health condition they had or a lack of appetite.

It was a struggle to witness, especially when certain individuals were dependent on medication only and neglected nutrition as part of their recovery treatment.  After learning about what a dietitian does, I knew that was the career waiting for me.

I have experienced plenty of hardships in life. Being able to become self-aware of my emotions and feelings has helped me to seek therapeutic help and exercises I need to manage my mental health. I now find it not only an important matter but an interesting topic to search and write about.

As a teenager, I had acne—not terrible, but bad acne. As I got older, it lessened, yet it still troubles me. I now hunt for and use natural skin care remedies, particularly for acne-prone, oily, sensitive skin.
For my physical appearance, I seek ways to improve my skin and hair. I love my thick afro hair, which takes up 3 to 5 hours on a wash day, haha. However, I love having hair that I can explore for growth and try various different hairstyles with.

In my free time, I imagine different health and wellness topics I want to write about. The topics I write about are my strongest interest, and some I know much about within health and wellness.

I want to be a freelance dietitian, yet my creative mind for content writing continues to explore. That’s when I decided not to wait for the future and begin my freelance writing journey now.

As my portfolio builds, it will cover various health, medical conditions, nutrition, fitness, skin and hair beauty and wellness topics. Keep a look out for updates!
